CARS, it was uhhh, the Lutheran one, uhhh, uhhh....I know it took out both Lutheran Churches. My dh's uncle is John Matson, and his son is Philip. You might know them; they both live in the Cities now. His church was a small white church with a brick parsonage if I remember correctly. He's been retired for quite awhile now.
I here that the new ELCA church they built to replace the old two is beautiful. I guess with the insurance money from two churches they were able to build one really nice one.
Yes, I remember pastor John. As far as the new church (called New Hope Lutheran) lets just say that is is a nice looking church but like so many things built after the tornado, was rushed a bit so some quality issues have arisen. It wasn't a easy decision for the two parishes, one of them was very much in the black and the other was in the red. So... lets just say that one of the two needed the other more than the other needed them
