I have a rooster that’s been by himself the last couple of weeks due to him wanting to constantly bother the hens wanting to mate. I have a broody hen and no eggs to hatch.
Now..

How long does my rooster have to be with the hens in order for me to have fertilized eggs? If he mates hen A, today, and is100% accurate. (Ideally, for learning purposes).
1. How long until I get a fertilized egg from him mating today? Does it take a few days for his sperm to travel?
2. If he mounts hen A today, will it be enough to keep fertilizing eggs for a few days? (Will it stay in the hens system for a few days and keep fertilizing) Or will he need to visit everyday.
