How does he look??

Bobwhitequaillover -- So long as YOU like the way your birds look, that is what is important. The other stuff mainly matters if you are breeding them to sell their eggs or to expand their genetic line elsewhere.

My birds are just for fun, so I don't care about perfection of conformity. Now, if I ended up with some unusual feature that was desirable, I'd try to preserve it somehow. But, my birds are for my happiness & not for a breeding program.

So, if someone's color is off, or their size isn't quite right, it doesn't really matter too much to me. What matters is that they are healthy and happy.

By the sounds of the 5 Roos who are having their morning Crow off right now, mine sure have some healthy lungs on them!

My birds are just for 4-H and fun!!
