How does photobucket moderate images?

I just found out that one of my images was deleted by photobucket from this thread:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=17109
The top image that is now deleted, and says "this image or video violated our terms of service", had my handmade egg basket with two eggs in front. What could be objectionable about that? The only thing I can guess is that photobucket uses some sort of automated image scanning programs and that image showed up as possibly nasty? Does anyone else have experience or knowledge about this? I was going to repost the image, but I don't know if photobucket would detect that and ban me? I know with the insane amount of things they store there is no way humans could monitor content. I do not even see a way to ask questions and get a reply. Since they receintly changed their site I am guessing they are moving slowly from the "free to use" to "pay to use if you want anything but the basics". It seems most of the free sites wait to hook a lot of people, then phase in charges and phase out free content.
Comments anyone?

Hmm..

I tried to use photobucket yesterday, and couldn't seem to upload an image AT ALL. It was a very small image, and it SAID it had uploaded.. but there was nothing.

As for your poor basket and it's apparently pornographic eggs.. LOL... as a person I'm horrified that they are using broad regulations to wipe out a few offenders. Sad. I hope they have someone who goes through those 'edited images' and sends through the ones that are ok. Really, I despise regulation in SO MANY forms, especially when it's automated!

As a mom, I'm glad they are policing that stuff. Just seems like they are casting a broad net for some very small fish. <and I'm making assumptions here. Maybe there are many more sickos out there than I can guess at.. >

I would say load it again. They will not ban you. It has happened to me before too. Maybe it was a fluke.

if it was removed for a "so-called" violation of terms then simply find the button that gives you the email to write to for support and explain the situation...
Once they removed a photo I had up (prolapse of a chicken but it was a close-up so you did not see the feathers) ...I wrote and lodged a complaint and explained that it was part of a series of photos on chicken prolapse I used in a treatment article>they replaced it in my album with an apology.
Mistakes occur.

It could be someone complained about it, or like you said, an automatic scanner caught the image or a descriptor you had labelling the picture. I agree, contact them and see.

It seems most of the free sites wait to hook a lot of people, then phase in charges and phase out free content.

I have most of my pics at Flickr. I pay for pro, but you can have up to 200 (I think) pics up for free though there is a monthly limit of upload size, I think 10 megs. It is a lot friendlier atmosphere there and you can comment of each others pics.
