How does the carton method work with hatching eggs?

Mrs. Fluffy Puffy :

I quit hatching in egg cartons because I was getting a 0% hatch rate. Now I use the egg cartons to hold the eggs upright during the first 18 days of incubation, but during lockdown I put them on their sides to hatch. Had much better hatch rates using this method.

This is how I plan on doing mine this time, I have 144 in the bator now, hatching should start the 28 th, with that said my hatches always come a couple of days early.

What has your 'temp been? The Sportsman stays right at 100-101 Forced Air, and the Brinsea stays at 99.5-99.6 Forced Air. Hate Still Air 'Bators.

I didnt like the cardboard carton thing at all i had better luck with making barriers out of rolled up bubble wrap and tying it to the screen in the bator. the humidity can make your bloom intact eggs stick to the cardboard egg cartons.
