I have 4 Danish brown leghorns that are 2 weeks old. I have one with significantly different markings on it's head and face. It's also very aggressive towards the other birds including the 4 CX. All the leghorns are supposed to be pullets from Ideal. Could I have a mistaken cockerel?

This is Omlet it is the suspect one. The v on its head is not smooth and well defined and it has black bits branching out above the eyes.

This is what the other 3 look like. Very well defined and even colored head V.

Here they are next to each other. The body and wing feathers are the same and so are the legs and feet. The aggressiveness and desire to jump out and attack cats is mainly what makes me wonder about sex.

As soon as the chest feather start coming in you'll be able to sex them. Boys will have black chest feathers. 2-3 more weeks.

Well Omelet the bird is no more so I guess this thread doesn't matter anymore. S(he) tried to jump out of the brooder as the lid was closing and it caught its little neck just enough in just the right place to break it. It broke low on its neck so it suffered until my girlfriend carried it out to me. I finished it quick. Poor Omelet.

I am so sorry, that so sad. RIP little Omelet.
