Hi :) I got this 11-week old sage egger from a private breeder who said it was a pullet. It has since started crowing nonstop and after looking at some online photos I’m thinking it’s a cockerel? Can anyone weigh in? Thanks!

With that big of comb and all that crowing i would say cockerel but I do t know anything about EEs

Comb looks like a he, but feather looks like a pullet.

I had an EE, she was the top chicken in my flock, she crew in the absence of a rooster, not often though.

She also ran to join fights between other chickens. She was my darling.

You were sold a cockerel. Hes still young so male specific feathers havent come in yet, but you may see some poking through the saddle area soon

Pretty sure that's a cockerel. I haven't had any EE breeds be pullets with a comb that red at 11 weeks.
