Hi!
I have 2 11 week Plymouth Barred Rocks, and one of them is starting to redden while the other is still yellow. The one that is redding (Mulvah) has a larger comb than the other (dolores). Mulvah looks really red sometimes, and yellowish pink other times. Am I crazy, or is it normal for them to change color?
I have heard that chickens don't redden until they are ready to lay... that can't be true?
