There's no HOA, but the guy that owns the development corporation lives 4 houses down from me. They are still adding on to the subdivision, but my house is 13 years old. I thought he was the one that could amend the rules... but if all the lots are sold, it's up to the homeowners. I'm not sure how I'd do that... get them to sign a petition?
That's true... it's not "illegal", so the worst they could do is make me get rid of them. If I go that route, my dad agreed to take them if I had to give them up.
