How far along???? HELP!!!

I candled my mutt eggs today and saw a dark blob filling about 75% of the egg with veins going to the air cell. How far along is it? Im thinking its due friday with the others. Thank, -Jay

Didn't keep track of when you set them? Should be 21 days if all is perfect.

Im going to give it a shot and say day 17.

When I set them I forgot to right down which are which. I was occupied with other stuff and was ignorinte. LOL Thanks for the help. Any other opinions are welcome. And if the chick wasnt moving does that mean its dead?

I checked mine yesterday which was day 14 and that is what mine looked like. Since I am a first timer and only candled once I don't know how long they look like that tho. Wish I could help more. Good luck

If they were day 17 I would think that almost the whole egg would be dark, not 75%. I would guess that they are only around day 12 or 13. I was very close to that with mine on day 10 (75%). Once the whole egg is dark, except for the air cell, I would put them in the hatcher or stop turning them. It will not hurt to check it every other day..
