How far apart

How far apart do you recommend keeping quail from chickens? Im thinking of making a hoop coop for the chickens and a single cattle panel for my quail (4 ' wide by 6' tall). Im trying to figure out can they be next each other or should they be 10 feet apart or more?

I have a “boarding pen” with quail and chickens are on the other side of the fence… so close but separated still.

As long as you are practicing good biosecurity, you should be fine. If your chickens are healthy and clean, your quail should be fine.
