How far do you live from Walmart?

According to that store locator link, there's one 2.91 miles from my house. I've been in there once or twice. I totally hated the experience.

Ideals aside, it drove me crazy. Trying to move through that store to pick up just a few things was insane. I couldn't move through the aisles without getting stopped or slowed by folks ambling along. Seems there were entire, huge families where shopping Walmart was their family activity or outing for the day. Whatever happened to taking the kids on a picnic or to the park? Why are you hanging out inside a store all day?

the one closest to me even has a solantic medical clinic in it with an "ala carte" menu of services posted at the front desk

I hate wal-mart. It is the DEVIL! I just do not understand having 600 registers and only 2 open.

about 15 miles (too close). I try to only go there for dog and cat stuff. It is a love hate relationship. They will take too much of my money if I let them.
