i am new to chickens, we are in the process of building our coop and wondering where we can place the feeders. can we put them ajecent to the front of the nest boxes? or should they be further away? we want to have the pvc style feeders that can be filled from outside the coop.

I would put them so they are not in the way, but somewhere where lower ranking hens feel comfortable eating, which means don't put it in a corner, also don't put it where it can be pooped in or bedding from the nest can get kicked out and into your feeder.

Good points^^^^

....and put them where the outside filler is well protected from wet weather and near where feed is stored.
