How forgiving are quail eggs.

I sat 96 Cortinex quail on Monday and have had pretty settled temps. Tonight I went to a play in the school, I was gone about 2 1/2 hours. when I came back the temp was 101.8 . The temp in the house itself really went up, so that was causing it. I opened the incubator and cooled them to 99. Have I ruined them? I have had such dismal hatches that I hoped with this quail batch I would do ok..... First incubator the turner wasn't working and I didn't know it. Not sure what happened the last time I got very few to go ahead and hatch. they were ducks and chicks. so anyway...am I looking at failure again?

Embryos dont usually die until you pass 103 for an extended period of time.
