how hardy are showgirls?

I was thinking about getting a couple showgirls but wondered how well they would do with my MN winters? The coop is very insulated and will probably run a heat lamp on real bad days.

I have heard that Turkens (which showgirls are half of) are good with cold so I would think Showgirls would be too.

Showgirls are about like Silkies.

Silkies have issues in rain, snow, sleet, ice, mud, etc. All of which would be encountered in the MN winters.

If you can keep them dry, silkies do just fine in cold weather. They come with their own fur coat
