How high do chickens fly?

Mine won't usually fly over the fence to the garden, but I think that is more of a function of the fact that they have plenty of fun space to range and peck bugs and petunias outside of the garden. I'm sure they could get in if they wanted too.

One Araucana also flew from standing to my wifes shoulder.
