We are in the middle of finishing the interior of our new coop. After doing my research here, we have placed the roosting poles (tree limbs) at 4' and 2' high....we have 16 birds and 6 of them are bantas. Now for my question...will the birds be able fly up to these poles or do they need a ladder or some sort of pole to reach the roosts? The coop interior measures 8x8.

The girls will tell you if you need to adjust anything for them.

That's pretty high for a heavy bird to jump down from, if the surface is hard... Can lead to foot injuries. Our girls have roosts at staggered heights so they never have to drop too far too fast.
