Nope, I have never had a problem with bumble foot or any foot/leg issues. I have watched them hop their way up there, but they always fly all the way down. It's not like they don't have plenty of ways to get down, they just prefer to fly down. The second pic shows the left side of the coop, the right side is identical with the same roosts so they have many options of getting up/down, they just choose to fly down.
