How high can the temp in the bator get on day 19, 20, 21 before it is dangerous?
MY sebbies spiked to 104...both hatched....how high was it?
103+ internal egg temp is the magic number I keep hearing but I had a 75% hatch after a night at 104.9 internal egg temp.
I had a hatch spike at over 109 a few months back, not all hatched but A few did. Never give up hope!
I have three thermos and one reads 101.9 and the other is hovering about 100.9. I am on day 18 and everything is going haywire!!!
Is the internal temp of the eggs higher or lower than the outside??
both of those temps are ok.
I read soemwhere that the temps can flucate becuase the babies produce there own heat a little now.
Yeah the eggs do 'heat up'. but mine really surprised me. I woke up to 104 this morning. I got it down, that's the first time it's done that.
I'm thinking maybe the wafer or switch is starting to go.
