How high is "your" chicken wire?

Are you talking about fencing? I don't use chicken wire on anything as it is not all that predator proof. Things can chew thru it, so I use hardware cloth on everything. But chicken wire can be good for lining outdoor fencing for just keeping chickens confined. And the height of fencing depends on the breed and flying ability of the bird. Smaller breed chickens can sail over 7 foot fencing, where as the heavier breeds usually can't get over a 7 foot fence.

I agree I have chicken wire on all pasture gates and drive way gates.. just to keep the girls in, it wont keep anything out if it wants in bad enough. I also use it for keeping babies out of bad place or in an certain area. the fence between us and our neighbors is lined with it to keep small bodies from going through...
