How high is your coop?

rule of thumb is 4 square feet per bird in the coop
typically 10 square feet per bird for run space

Mine is over 2 feet off the ground with a 8ft ramp from coop to inside run see pics in my BYC page 4x8 coop 10x10 run

Mine is at least 3 feet, I wanted the nest box on the upper level of a retaining wall.

They just have a longer ramp is all

Were In The Prosess Of Building Ours But We Have The Coop 2feet Off The Ground And It Is 4'x2' And 3' Tall In The Front And 2.5' Tall In The Back So The Water Runs Off Away From The Run.
