How high must a fence be to keep Buckeye in?

I have been reading various articles on how high a run fence must be in order to contain chickens. Buckeyes, the breed I plan to get, are supposed to be flyers and I am just wondering if anyone knows how high a fence must be in order to contain them. I am considering an un-netted run in a partially wooded area.

No one told mine she can fly. :)

If a breed is really good at flying might be hard to build tall enough to guarantee they'll stay in, but Buckeyes aren't the smallest or lightest of breeds, so probably 8' would suffice for adults, maybe even 6' (but I've had other breeds easily get to 6').

Keep thier wings clipped. My fence is only 4ft. When I find one out, thier wings get clipped and no more escapes.

Welcome!
Younger birds can sometimes fly better than mature individuals. My Buckeyes don't seem like the best flyers ever, but still I don't really know.
Your real issue will be that uncovered run, and predators. Many birds will stay inside a six foot fence, and many predators will have no problems scaling it.
