How hot is too hot for new chicks?

My eggs should be hatching on the 28th. I was wondering if it would be too hot in the coop for the chicks. Its been over 100 degrees for 32 days here and the news says the triple digits wont be going anywhere for a long while. My coop is 4ft deep x 8ft long and 5ft tall. they should be ok but should not be too hot. If they have half shade and half sun, they can adjust themselves without any broody lights on at all.
