How is it that my hen turned out like this when neither of the parents resemble her? What caused the laced feather pattern effect?

The father is a light bramha and the mother in the photo (with the wheel barrow behind her) is a Swedish flower. The other photo is the offspring of her. I want to breed more of her but how likely is it that here offspring will come out like that again?

It is likely you will produce the same results if you keep breeding both of the parents together.

The laced pattern effect is because she has autosomal red on the back, but the autosomal red struggles to cover the silver edges of the feathers.
