I added water after the photo (on top of bricks) as well as chick grit. How does this seem for a brooder for about two more weeks before moving outside? Suggestions or red flags? The tent was 20 bucks!

I'm not seeing any major red flags right now.

Good points I notice:
--It is indoors, so there is no severe weather and probably no predators.
--There is a heat source (brooder plate), food and water, and I think enough space.
--It contains the chicks and their bedding, so they cannot run out or fly out and get into trouble.

I'm not quite sure about ventilation. If you notice that inside is warmer than outside, or that inside is stinky but outside is not, then you will need to add more ventilation. But if the temperature and smell are the same inside the tent and outside, that would show that you have enough ventilation through the screened end.

Overall, it looks like it provides what the chicks need, so if it works well for you, then it's great!
