So I live in Anacortes where we have a flood season pre-welcomed whith some of the worst NW windstorms(3 people died last year and 4 other badly hospitalized) so of course the other morning when I came out to feed and water the birds I found our lovely winds left a 70 ft tree on the loft!!! The actual loft is fine but the 10×10 kennel/aviary surrounding it had 2 sides crushed not to mention the roof
so now I have to spend 270 to fix it and my birds of course got to outfly the cooper this morning due to THE ROOF BEING CRUSHED! -_- covered it whith a tarp for now and propped up the fence whith a post. Anyone else have some unfortunate weather stories of their birds?

Sorry for your trouble but glad the loft - or your house - wasn't crushed!
all our trees other than our orchard trees are 40ft or more on our property so just fallen branches are bodylength size much less actual trees. But we once spent a whole day shop vac-ing our barn after it flooded and our animals all jump ship and slept under the cover of our back deck on higher ground (horses, chickens, goats, and a llama 0-0)
