how is wyndotte pronounced????

    Hey everyone! HOW IS WYNDOTTE PRONOUNCED???????? i have two and i dont know how to pronounce them!! is it like win dot or wine dot ????

    I think it is "why-n-dot", but could be wrong. That is how I see it as phonetically sounding.

    Wine dot is pretty close... why en dot is close also buy you pronounce why en in one syllable... I think. There is a website that pronounces words but I cannot remember it and I have seen an app on I-phones that does it also.

    In english yes but not french and wyandotte is a french originated word it is a name given to a certain North American tribes around Northeast(new england) region, Wyandot a member of the subgroup of the Hurons.
