So does, but there has been times when I have been too busy during the day working myself and not had the extra time to have anything ready for supper when she gets home form work.

Those time's must be pizza night, then?

I don't think so. I'm getting old. I think it would be too hot here in the summer for me to be out there in the 118-F. heat making sure they would have enough water to play in. I put up misters and add extra 3 gallon feed tubs of water out there for the chicken's to help them with the heat.

I understand, I was just busting your chops giving you a bad time about hatching your Baby Ducklings. LOL Ducks are definitely not for everyone and yes with your summer time extreme temps it would make it much harder to care for them.

Maybe you could try crossing one of those ducks with your Naked Neck chooks and have the perfect hot weather waterfowl! LOL

Well I gag to differ! LOL This is one of my home made Canadian Bacon pizzas from scratch, dough and all ,with the CB that I cured from one of our own hogs Before cooking and after pics.

All of mine survived the heat this past summer from what I do for them, but a couple of my neighbor's lost a few of their's, and had to buy more girl's from me to replace them. I try to tell them what they should do for them, but I cannot force them to follow my advice.
