Well, I couldn't take not having a male Bielefelder for my 5 Bielefelder girl's any longer, so I just ordered some more hatching egg's from the same person on ebay.

I want to be able to breed them to still have the sexable at hatch chick's. You can't have that happen if you mix them with another breed, so I need my boy.

Ruffus and Big Boy
Hello, How is everyone and their flocks doing this fine day? Well we had 3 new members arrive early this morning, Momma Betty done it again. 
Ducky our mini Lamancha is a new papa. The first born had small ears like daddy the middle born had long ears like momma and the last little one born has small ears like daddy.
I am not going to say for 100% sure, but after a quick look they look to be all girls, which would be rare for triples and very good for us!
It will also be interesting to see who all has the dark blue eyes like daddy.

Ok, I have my crockpot going now with a nice Leg of Lamb that I bought yesterday. I started a thread going in the recipe section at BYC, and a couple other people have started sharing lamb and goat recipe's in it if any of you are interested in that.

Our mini goats would be a waste of time and money for their size. It would be like cooking a small squirrel over a full size hog.
Our mini goats are high dollar lap pets over meat goats. Don't think I still don't look at them differently! LOL
