How is your flock today?

My banty hen Clover is BROODY! It doesn't snow more than once a year here, so she hid in the henhouse the entire time. Well, at some point, she decided to sit in the nest box to keep warm. Now she's growling at me and pushing eggs under her. I really want to have her hatch an egg, but I don't have the room!!! Arghh. Well, that's it.

Moonflower has been in the nest box each time I've gone out. But eggs keep appearing under her so *shrugs*. Waterers froze today!
This is Pretty Girl dropping her egg for the day. I currently have their coop and nesting boxes under construction, So I guess she figured it all out on her own. LOL :)

cutie!!

I pulled MF and another hen out of the nest boxes tonight. MF is not thrilled but I think the other hen just wanted to sleep there lol.

I'm sure MF will be back in the morning. maybe I should actually break her?

I hope for your sake that is the case. Broodiness can be catchy. Last year some of mine were going broody left and right.
