Hello everyone my flock today is fine but I caught my rooster trying to mate w my 3 month old hen. Is that normal I don't think so

It's not good for the immature girl. She's not ready yet. Some rooster's will try to breed anything. I've heard of them trying to breed shoes and boot's before even.

I hear guineas are more annoying than peafowl haha.

Yes I have 6 3-month old chicks and he even dances to the baby roosters but I am trying to let the chicks with the small ones together and hope nothing bad happens

At his age he could end up hurting the 3 month old girl's. Is there a way the you could separate him from those girl's until they are ready to start laying egg's?
