How is your flock today?

Pics
Thanks for the welcome! I'm gonna try and get some pics if I can work up the nerve to go outside...in the cold...
It's always nice to have members drop by and post on how their flock is doing? :)

We just had our first little dusting of the white stuff this morning and I went out and snapped a few pics to post later of them in the snow, it was all their first time with snow. :)

Splitting an order might be a possibility, but I'd have to really look for some people who need 21 chickens. 4 for me and that's the max I would want to put in my coop and run.

I was all excited when I saw Welp hatchery had 5 as a minimum. Nope, that's per breed. :barnie

The minimums go down in spring. McMurrays changes to 15 on April 1st with some breeds qualifying for a minimum of 6 with a fee (a fee that's practically the price of 7 chicks!). The 6 needs "eligible breeds" but it's still mix and match within the eligible breeds.

Ooh, that must have been exciting (and terrifying) for them! ;) Did they seem to like it?
