Presto is great canning stuff and goes way back and you can still get the rubber seals for them.I got one of my canners at an estate sale, the small one I have had since the 70's. You can get new parts for any older Presto on that site, and the one I bought was $25.00.

How I know that feeling, lol Being an daily active BYC member can be a full time job in it's self! LOLCool! I guess that it is Friday already! I was so busy trying to take care of personal business this week that time seems to have flown by.

The toxin from Botulism has no smell, but the jar will be leaking, or the can swolen & bulging out, so do not buy such a can on sale! Leaky jars get thrown, not even fed to dogs or chickens, it will sicken them too.If I ever open a canned jar and it don't smell right, it gets dumped!
