I got blinded by your handsome roo... reminds me of my first purchased roo who made BEAUTIFUL babies but flogged a few of my girls a few too many times so he went to the pasture. Sure miss his DNA especially with my light brahma.

All our animals are spoiled to the core, they have me trained perfectly! LOL Our duck hens hear the door to the house open up early in the morning and they all start sounding off with their very loud QUACK! QUACK! until they get their breakfast! LOL

I am so amazed at how Kung Pao is so docile, night and day different from Chewy and his aggressive behavior. I am just a little sad that he has crooked toes on the one foot and as much as I would want to breed him to see what kind of beautiful babies he would produce, I just don't know if the crooked toes are from a birth injury and or genetic defect? I guess I could fire up the new 360 and check that theory out. LOL

Kung Pao gets along just great with is gimp toes from what I can tell. What's the worse case scenario, I end up with chooks with crooked toes that go to freezer camp at some point! LOL

I had a little company greet me this morning as I was going back out of the house with more feed for the animals. I call the boys the Magnificent 7. LOL

I am having some second thoughts on culling Big Boy. He is one of Chewys offspring and so far he has been very docile towards me and has even let me pick him up on several occasions now.

Big Boy is half Butthead (Chewy) and other half 100% Isa Brown. Maybe the meanness was breed out of him? Big boy is nothing special as far as breed goes, but if he doesn't turn out to be a butthead, I think he will be fun to keep around.

Big Boy is the biggest out of all the Cockerels and in my un-expert opinion, looks the best of the bunch.

The one pic he is walking up the steps and starting to crow, and then when he is at the top of the deck. What do you think ?
