I have 1 laying hen and 2 6mo. hens not layingyet. I have one rooster also 6 mo starting to crow. Days are getting shorter, could my laying hen lay fertilized eggs and go broody this late in the fall? I live in San Diego and it's not very cold..

Of course! Chickens really aren't as affected by cold as people say. On the other hand, she'll need to have broody genetics to hatch eggs.
