How long after egg song?

Our girls aren't laying yet but a little while ago for the first time I heard the unmistakable egg song. I looked all over the coop and run and didn't say anything. She was walking around singing. How long will it be until we get an egg?

mine only do it after they lay an egg.

That's what I was thinking, especially since she was walking around but I checked everywhere

lol I'm guessing not quite everywhere!
My girls do the same thing some times it takes me days to find the new spot.

just wait until tomorrow, about 1/2 an hour before she started in this morning, and watch her.

Great idea! I was going to send my 3 year old on a hunt but since it's going to be tiny I thought better of it
