How long after my chicks hatch do I leave them in the bator ?

I guess I'm an oddball. I take my chicks out with their shells shortly after they hatch. I do put them in a homemade brooder box with course shavings to dry out and find their feet then they go into a brooder cabinet.

Here is some of my last hatch. BO's in the top pic and RIR and RIR/RIW mix in the bottom pic.
