Our son is visiting from Florida so we are visiting over cooking better than usual meals. Greek restaurant last night. Eggs with crispy fried potatoes and more kinds of fruit than usual for breakfast this morning. Turkey roasting for later today.

And visiting over games - Splendor so far.

And doing a few projects easier done with his help. Repairing the back steps, mounting the tv in the basement. That might be all.

He started a new job recently, so lots to talk about.

He joined my morning walk and we might join him weight- lifting.. he did a lot of that (the weights; mot so much the walk - he does rowing or eliptical usually) while looking for that job.

First we will be moving our horses (down to four!) to their winter field, and then the chicken coop gets it's winter vinyl wrap. Maybe both tomorrow? Probably not...
The bantam chicks from mid September are doing fine, feathered out, and ready to explore more at the coop. Free range? Scary, but soon.
Mary
