I have hatched out a few lately but just wondering, the chick pipped the shell but the white membrane is punctured, the chick hasnt put its beak out or anything.

Will it be ok overnight being tore open like that if it doesnt hatch right away? I got the humidity at 70-80%

Should be fine....pipping just means the chicks need more air...not that they are ready to hatch. I had some that took 10-12 hours from pip to zip and they did just fine.

It hatched overnight, I'd post pics but I don't know how to post from my iPhone
