She look very darling!

She really is . I've spotted her peeking around the nesting boxes the last couple of days... And one of my other pullets started laying again today (she only laid for like a week before the days got short ). So I'm hoping that gets Luna feeling competitive! . Here's Hagger (worst name, long story ) and her pink-ish egg:

Oooh oooh oooh! Her future eggs were (very willingly) fertilized today, for the first time that I witnessed!
They were actually out free ranging and I heard her calling loudly for an escort from her rooster friend! I thought maybe she had laid an egg in the wild and wanted company back to the coop, but didn't find anything... Hopefully soon! I've spotted her checking out the nesting boxes a few times too...
