How long after their faces turn red?!

I guess I’m so confused bc the bird pictured does not look like an EE to me. It just looks like a regular austrolorp
It isn't full Australorp I don't believe at least. If you look by the ear, there is some brown coloring which isn't typical of them. Though I could be wrong.

Fair enough, if that's what you see - but I'm 100% confident because my Ameraucana was my only roo at the time. She also has extra brown colouring, and a pea comb ☺

She’s got gold on her neck and a pea comb.
Guys, it’s an EE.
🤗. I was genuinely running out of ways to explain it!! And may or may not have been starting to question my sanity!

I'm used to the EE vs Ameraucana disagreement with regards to my roo (and honestly, I get it - I know the colour mixing technically made him an EE). But I've never had to "defend" his offspring before!

He is really beautiful by the way. He does look a lot like my roo too, though I've never had Americana before so I wouldn't know that one XD

He was the best 😭😭. Such a pretty boy. I miss him; but don't particularly miss his DQs 🤣. I have splash Ameraucanas roos now, and they're more "true" to breed standard, but they're definitely not as funky!
