My youngest girl Stuffing just started squatting for her tom about a week and a half ago. At about what point after that should I see if she is laying? so far she is not interestd in the nest boxes, but IS laying down for cranberries quite frequently. he is in 7th heaven!
I'm not sure if I should make her her own huge box or let her find a spot in the yard or what. I also have an older girl who we got 3 weeks ago who is not yet laying this year. They are getting light ( 12 or so hours) and i'm in California so its not too cold.
