How long after??????

How long after you take a hen from the roos can she be fertile? I was wondering because my DH says he will not eat her eggs if they are fertile. I know he can't tell if they are or not. But from being on here I have learned. I don't care. They all taste good to MEEEE! It just made me curious.

I believe it's 2-3 weeks on average

yes but tell DH a fertile egg and a nonfertile egg are the same,taste the same,and look the same. a fertile egg has to be incubated for a few days to even see a difference between the two. i eat fertile eggs every day. yum yum
