I unfortunately do not know the exact date, just a rough window. I was not nearly as meticulous about saving dates in my childhood as I am now. 
My sister brought them home (without permission from our parents) in late March or early April of 2005. My first chick that was actually officially mine was a white Easter-egger pullet that we bought, among others, from Tractor Supply probably within the week of those initial chicks arriving. Then the entire flock became mine after a few months because my sister grew bored of the birds once they were no longer cute and small.
So, I guess that puts me at 16 years and 9-10 months ago for my first chicken, and that minus, say, 2-3 months for the entire flock? That's the best estimate I can give, anyway.
