How long are eggs good...

I went back 25 pages and couldn't find the answer and didn't have good luck searching...

I have 18 eggs in the incubator that have 7 more days to go and I want to have another batch ready once these hatch.

Can I collect for 7 days? 10 days? 2 weeks?

If I collect, store and turn properly what is the shelf life of a fertile egg?

The mortality rate increases from day 10 on.

Most people say 10 days max, but others say a couple weeks. Personally Im thinking 10. The faster you get em in, the higher the hatch rate. It would be a good experiment...Date each one and see who hatches. Good Luck with your BBs.

P.S. keep pointy ends down, and turn daily. I let mine sit on the kitchen counter until ready to incubate.
