I have some fertile hatching eggs that were laid last Wednesday (2/3/10). I was really hoping to be able to get them into the incubator today, but it still hasn't arrived yet. Could someone here give me an idea as to how long these eggs will remain viable for?

I had 5 eggs sitting in a bucket for about 2 weeks. When I set them, 3 developed. If I had set them earlier maybe all 5 would have developed, maybe not. All I can conclude from the experience is that eggs left for 2 weeks sitting untouched in a bucket can still produce chicks.
Good luck with your hatch.
Maybe the 'bator will come tomorrow...

I like to have my eggs in the bator by the 7th-10th Day,but I have hatched them out after15-20 days when the eggs stayed very cool and got turned while I was waiting.
