How long at 105F is fatal to embryos?

I have a freebie incubator that consistently runs 105F, I’ve read that that is fatal to hatching eggs. I tossed 6 in there for 1-8 hours to see if it would fry the eggs preincubation. Today is day 3 and I’m getting development in most of them. Is it fatal to actual embryos rather than to preincubated eggs? Do I need to incubate the eggs and then expose them to the renegade incubator? How come when I want to create a disaster nothing happens but some people do it by accident? That’s Murphy’s law of course, this is getting ridiculous!

My understanding is it would be fatal for most eggs if it ran that high for hours, but the larger concern is possibly deformed chicks for those that survived. It could also affect their internal organs, which, if it didn't kill them, probably would have issues and cause early death.

A short period at 105°F won't kill the embryo....a prolonged time would kill the embryo! It takes awhile for the internal temperature of the egg to reach 105°F.
I have loss eggs because of a spike that lasted for around 1 hour.
