How long before improvement

My spotted sussex poked her eye,, started treating with terrsmycin.in her eye.....10 days then have been giving her oral tylan 50 for 3 1/2 days. 1ml by mouth. She is doing better but I'm wondering ??? Eye after treating with ointment and warm compress....much better....last three days with oral tylan

Have you tried to pull the eyelid back to get a look at the eye? If you see an opaque white membrane over the surface of the eye, it won't get better. She will be blind. If you see the eye, but there's a red transparent film over it, it's infected but continued antibiotic treatment should fix it.

How quickly she heals is up to her individual biology, but you should see improvement in another week, but complete healing could take longer. If you can obtain some steroid eye drops, it would help with the acute swelling if used with the antibiotics.
 
There is an white...not opaque area twords the back of her eye...pus?.. could go either way have been cleaning eye with warm compress 2x daily before ointment
