How long before pipping?

This may sound a strange question but roughly how long do eggs rock for before they start to pip? I want to know if I am in for an early hatch as mine started rocking on day 17 Thanks

Not strange at all! They can pip as early as day 19 maybe even sooner. I would think you will be getting pips within a day or two. Not to burst your bubble but rocking does not always mean a chick will hatch (just a heads up). Good luck! Let us know how it goes and PLEASE post some pics.
