How long before the feed goes bad ?

I usually buy a months supply. Also, wondering about storing the feed in the heat. Will extreme heat ruin the feed?

It shouldn't ruin from the heat but the hotter it gets the faster it loses nutrition.

A month at a time is about normal. I would worry more about how long it set on a pallet at the feed store.

If you keep it dry and out of the sun a month isn't too long. But I wouldn't want to keep it longer than that in the summer time. Come the fall when the weather breaks you could keep it across the winter.

OK Thanks. Its so freaking hot here. I have a metal building that the feeds in. I hate running the a/c in it but I have to keep the food from extreme heat.
